Pakistan condemns HR violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir

Islamabad—Pakistan has strongly condemned human rights violations by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
Commenting on recent events of torture of innocent Kashmiris in Sopore and other areas in Occupied Kashmir. Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit on Monday said, “We are concerned over the human rights situation in Jammu and Kashmir.”
He said,”Pakistan has consistently underlined the importance of respecting the rights of Kashmiris and will continue extending its full moral and diplomatic support to their legitimate cause and struggle.”
The spokesman said the international community should also take notice of this human rights violations by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan is seeking resumption of composite dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues including the core issue of Kashmir. The solution of Kashmir issue will ensure a durable peace in the region.
